First of all, I would like to thank each of you for trusting me as your sales consultant with your vehicle purchase at Kelowna Infiniti Nissan. As part of my sales process I try to get to know as much about you as I can which helps me select the best vehicle to suit your needs.

The tables have now turned, and I would like to tell you a bit about myself through a regular newsletter that I am going to write, this being the first edition.

During my fourth year at the University of Alberta, something became very clear to me. I was not doing something that I loved. After playing on the football team for 4 years, I decided it was time to follow a dream. That dream was to work in the film and television industry.

My father headed up the Audio Video Division for the Alberta Government. As a child, I remember seeing the humungous cameras, being inside the sound booths, and watching production unfold in front of my eyes. My dad would come home and tell us about this funny show that was using their studio and especially about a very fun man named John Candy. The show was called Second City Television, a show that became one of our family’s favorites.

So, one day, I quit my job at Canada Safeway, packed up my parent’s motorhome and told them I was going to move to LA to be an actor. I got as far as Granville Island in Vancouver. Fate intervened, and after a long two day trip, I happened to park next to a movie shooting location. I got out of the motorhome and as I walked through the parking lot I passed a man with eyes I will never forget who said “hello there” – it was Richard Dreyfuss heading to the set. As he passed me a laugh I knew I had heard before broke out and Emilio Estevez soon joined Dreyfuss on his walk. Nothing could stop me now!

I riffled through the newspaper the next day, found listings for Extra Agencies, and sourced them out. Within a week I was working on sets and had the acting bug. With a headshot, a month later I landed a talent agent and the opportunities started coming in. I was making a go of it and working almost every day for my first 5 years. I was booking commercials for Fila, Toyota, Claritin, Dewar’s Whisky, and was working as a regular on a kid’s show called the Odyssey, playing the character Wolf Boy.

I had day jobs on the X-files and Madison High, and starting to get auditions for feature films. I landed a few, and had roles in Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler, Rumble in the Bronx with Jackie Chan and a television series called Jeremiah starring Luke Perry and Malcolm Jamal Warner, and guest starring Jason Priestly.

I had a great run for about 11 years, eventually making a name for myself as a day actor, stuntman and commercial actor. Life was great. As I started to get older, I established my own Talent Agency and specialized in training kids and teens for Television, Commercials and Film. I had great success with some of the talent I trained, and some are still working today.

Love always happened for me when I was least expected it. Like my love for the film industry, it fell into my lap. I met my wife at the Merritt Music Festival. She was there with a girlfriend and I had literally caught a last minute ride with some acquaintances and was going to meet some friends who were there. Not knowing what to expect, fate stepped in and I immediately bumped into my wife and we spent the day together. I joking told her that I would marry her on top of a mountain in 7 years to the date – just wait and see. Almost to the day, we were married in Santorini Greece 7 years later. We now have two beautiful children, Olivia 5 and Rocco 3.

Now you know a little bit more about me. You also know that no matter whatever I do, I try to do the very best that I can. I am passionate about my work and selling cars is what I love to do. I haven’t abandoned my passion for film and television, and operate my own production company, Jett Models Inc., from behind the camera.

Working for the Sentes Auto Group has now also become a dream come true. I cannot say enough about the Sentes Family, their commitment to people and their professionalism in business. You are in good hands.

Enough about me, let’s talk about Nissan teaming up with Cummins Engines to produce the first ever heavy half ton available to Nissan Titan XD. I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to write and produce a video showcasing this amazing truck. I hope you enjoy the video.

My commitment to my customers is always to put your needs first as a buyer. As Nissan continues to gather momentum as the fastest growing brand in Canada, I am committed to keeping you up to date on all of the latest news and amazing new products from Nissan.

The other exciting piece of news I have for you is Kelowna Infiniti Nissan is building a new dealership in Kelowna to be open for 2017! You are all invited to the opening!

If you like the video, please let me know by giving it a thumbs up. I plan to provide you with more informative videos to help you keep updated with all the new vehicles and features Nissan is launching.

Again, thank you so much for supporting my dreams and my family. I am truly thankful and am available to help you anytime, except Tuesdays – that’s my day off!

Enjoy your Nissan!
